   And to global warming sceptics and pessimists who think it’s not happening or it’s too late I say this, let’s assume that for a minute that either of the above were true and we pumped all this revenue into developing clean renewable sources of enegy, would it really have been so bad of a goof? I mean, lot’s of new jobs better for the economy and the environment, I’m sorry but, I really don’t see a downside here.

   global warming is a combination of both problems the sun and CO2 now, one of the problems (namely the sun) we obviously can’t do much about but, CO2 is an area where we can make great strides. Every little bit helps. (in my home almost every light is the long life energy efficient bulbs) It like the old saying goes,..if eveyone does a little, it amounts to alot society word wide has to deem this issue morally justifiable.

I can’t stand people who obviously have done no research and have made no effort to find out the facts of both sides (or either side for that matter) of the issue of global warming. If you can back it up, fine (but i would still STRONGLY disagree with you). But at least give some reasoning. Global warming is real.    i think he means that right now, you can’t say that the sun is the sole reason for melting polar ice. You’re both right, but you’re not taking what he said the right way. I think we all agree that there are many things that add up to produce the global warming that is fast becoming a critical issue in the world. I only wish that the press, debate mediators, etc. would bring it up more often. It seems that global warming and the environment has taken a backseat to many other issues.

   You know what, I am tired of these no nothings that do not research before they speak. They say stuff they want to be true because they can not accept the facts. The sun is also causeing global warming because the sun has been heating up but the base for global warming is CO2, nitric oxide, and methane. These are all produced by humans from cars, dumps, huge heards of cows, and powerplants. These are all problems that cause global warming and the reason for global warming is not just the sun

   There isn’t “clean coal”, in West Virginia, mountains are blown up, leveled, polluting water & air, reclaimed is a joke, people are getting sick and dieing. Mountain top removal reduce jobs from 100 to 1,000s jobs per underground mine to 6 to 40 jobs per mine, much of those jobs aren’t going to WVians, there are little to no profit, energy price breaks going to WV for watching our way of life being raped. Clean energy is not being replaced on leveled mountains ie. wind mills and/or hemp farms.
